Watertown is partnering with HELPSY to offer free curbside pick-up of clothing and household textiles for residents on Fridays on a weekly basis. Residents can schedule online at helpsy.co/watertownma. After filling out a request form online, a driver will be scheduled to pick-up on a selected Friday. Clothing should be bagged and left at the curb prior to 7 am the morning of pickup.

Textiles recycling is also available at the Recycling Center  appears to be an empty link with target https://www.watertown-ma.gov/asset/ceaf236b-f893-4f72-9920-5e2ffaa09768 

The Recycling Center, as well as the site that accepts our recycled materials delivered from the center, are operated by our contractor, Republic Services, and they have informed the City that they are unable to staff the center and manage pickups from the center during the strike.

The Recycle Center is located at 76 Stanley Ave, and can be accessed on Green River Way. Please note that it’s one way in to the recycle center so you have to enter through Green River Way. Hours: Tuesday, Friday and Saturday 9am-4pm.
